Sales creation: Your ability to sell and provide sales growth. If we consider at a basic level what contributes to this goal, we have: Using the objective we mentioned above, one of your company goals is to create a profit of £2m per year, increasing by 10% in the following years. This means you know exactly which metrics to track in order to find room for improvement. Once you’ve identified your company goals and objectives, you then need to work out what measures are influencing them. So, we need to consider what will affect this goal in order to understand what KPIs to use. In this case, a more realistic company goal may be to create a profit of £2m per year, increasing by 10% in the following years. Having an exceptionally high service level might gain you an excellent reputation, but if you have high operating costs to obtain it, it may be unsustainable in the long term. However, offering excellent service to customers as a key goal does not necessarily mean the company will be successful. Then, you can use these goals as a basis for your targets.įor example, many supply chain companies will have delivery on time in full (OTIF) as a principal KPI. These could be anything such as increasing your number of sales or improving your delivery times. Around two to four KPIs is usually a good amount to aim for. Less is usually more, and choosing a few key goals, instead of many small ones, will make the data much easier to track and keep on top of. The first step to identifying your KPIs is working out your true business goals. Or perhaps a set of specific KPIs may be identified that are directly linked to a company goal or objective, such as overall delivery performance, using OTIF (on time in full) data, or customer satisfaction. For example, financial information may be captured to understand return on investment or percentage growth in certain areas. Strategic measures may be based on a wide variety of areas. Customer-focused: Customer service and deliveryĪs strategic objectives are higher level, and therefore have a number of influencing factors, further drill-down is often necessary to identify areas for improvement and diagnostics.Warehouse processes: Efficiency and optimisation.

Tales of Rebirth was released in 2004 and ported to the PlayStation Portable in 2008, but has not yet received a Western localization. It was the first entry to feature 3D graphics for its characters and environments and the first to be released in Europe. The GameCube version was also released in North America and Europe. Tales of Symphonia was released in Japan on the PS2 and GameCube. The true direct sequel to Destiny, Tales of Destiny 2, was released on the PlayStation 2 in 2001 across Asian territories and ported to the PlayStation Portable in Japan in 2007 both versions have yet to receive a Western release. įive titles were released on the PlayStation 2. The PlayStation received two original Tales games: Tales of Destiny in 1997, which was the first title to be released in North America, and Tales of Eternia in 2000, which was released in North America as Tales of Destiny 2 in 2001. It was also ported to the PlayStation, PlayStation Portable and iOS. It was released in the West on the Game Boy Advance in 2006. The series debuted on the Super Famicom with Tales of Phantasia in 1995, and introduced multiple elements that would become staples of the Tales series. The 2006 Nintendo DS game Tales of the Tempest was originally seen as a main entry in the series, but in 2007 was classified as a spin-off, possibly due to poor reception of that particular title. While Tales titles are often ported to new consoles after their original release, these remakes are rarely localized. Except when indicated by naming, the main Tales entries are separate from each other apart from gameplay mechanics and themes. Since the first installment was released in 1995, the Tales series has grown to include the main entries and multiple spin-offs that derive multiple gameplay and narrative elements from the main entries. As of 2022, the series has shipped over 25 million units worldwide. The series has been gaining popularity in the West since the release of Tales of Symphonia, which is still considered one of its most popular games. While generally seen as a niche series in English-speaking regions, Tales is considered to be among the most important JRPG franchises in Japan. Most of the main Tales games have been localized for North America and Europe, although almost none of the spinoff titles have been released abroad. The series was created by Yoshiharu Gotanda. Multiple people have become linked with the series, including character designers Kōsuke Fujishima and Mutsumi Inomata, producers Hideo Baba and Makoto Yoshizumi, and composer Motoi Sakuraba. The series is characterized by its art style, which draws from Japanese manga and anime, and its action-based fighting system called the "Linear Motion Battle System". While entries in the series generally stand independent of each other with different characters and stories, they are commonly linked by their gameplay, themes and high fantasy settings. First begun in 1995 with the development and release of Tales of Phantasia for the Super Famicom, the series currently spans seventeen main titles, multiple spin-off games and supplementary media in the form of manga series, anime series, and audio dramas. The Tales series is a franchise of fantasy role-playing video games published by Bandai Namco Entertainment (formerly Namco), and developed by its subsidiary, Namco Tales Studio until 2011 and presently by Bandai Namco Studios. Namco Tales Studio (formerly Wolf Team) (1995–2011) Each entry in the series uses its own font and styling. The Tales of series logo, used in the series' 25th anniversary logo. I was never a fan as it stifled experimentation, encouraging you to pick and stick with one playstyle early on. This was an annoying mechanic that let you develop an “affinity” with a weapon type the more you used it. For starters, Deck13 has ditched the weapon specialisation feature of the original game. Yes, this was all in the original game, but it’s made better through a series of subtle refinements in The Surge 2. Nimble operators fly about the battlefield and have a distinct “sting like a bee” Ultraman feel, but get sent flying around the map when hit. Heavy duty weapons and Goliath loadouts make it feel like you’re piloting a Titanfall mech and have a pleasing clout when you exchange blows with your foes. What makes the system great is that every weapon and piece of armour has a different flow and pattern that’s reflected in your character’s movement. They use energy (the Surge’s version of mana) to do things like heal you, or temporarily boost attack power. Injectables play the same role as potions in regular RPGs. From there you can load your rig with augments, which can be used to boost your character’s core skills or add injectables to your loadout. Again, every category is neatly sorted and explained in the inventory menu. Off the bat you’ll get to use everything from staffs to chainsaws and hydraulic drill style “rigged” weapons. After something in-between? Then you’ll want to stick to Sentinel armour. If you’re a tank player then Goliath-class armour is the best. If you’re after a speedy character then Operator (light armour) is the way to go. The system is wonderfully intuitive with each set of armour and weapon falling into a specific, clearly explained category. This sees you upgrade your character using cybernetic implants and a variety of high, and low, tech futuristic weapons to dismember anything that gets in your way. The Surge 2 keeps the same rig system as the first game. The plot is decent, but takes a backseat to make room for action much of the time.ĭiving into the combat things are instantly satisfying. Whatever character you build, you take the role of a survivor of a plane crash that occurred when the nanite menace from the previous game first escaped from tech conglomerate CREO’s facility. This is apparent the moment you finish building your character and are dropped into the game’s narrative. But The Surge 2 manages to differentiate itself through its refined combat and equipment mechanics. So far, so dull? That’s what I thought at first. The only difference between the Surge 2 and Dark Souls is that it has an overtly sci-fi setting where you’re moving between MedBays, rather than Bonfires, and spend scrap instead of souls. They see you navigate an open world, exploring vast locales battling challenging enemies while spending experience points to level up your character and upgrade your equipment. For those that missed it, Souls-games are titles inspired by the uber difficult Dark Souls series by developer FromSoftware. The game will feel familiar to anyone that’s played any Souls-like game. In fact, at first glance it’s all but identical to the original The Surge, outside of the fact you create your character, rather than step into the shoes of original protagonist, Warren.īut, despite the lack of significant changes, The Surge 2’s core combat mechanics are still some of the best you’ll find and make it a great option for any Dark Souls fan looking for their next fix. The Surge 2 is latest in a growing sea of hardcore, Souls-esque, RPGs to hit the market. But overall this game is fun and does have a lot of replay value even after you beat it with the worlds having much to explore that you might have missed and the diferent builds to choose from and try. This is one game that I say don't believe or listen to everything you read about it because it really is a good game that just suffered from a This is one game that I say don't believe or listen to everything you read about it because it really is a good game that just suffered from a lot of bugs therefore causing a lot of its bad reviews which is a shame because once the bugs are patched or non existent most of the game you start to then truly see how good of a good game it is maybe not not great but good for sure and one game that I see a promising future for in a sequel if they make it bigger and longer, more polished, and improve upon what the game already has and does right along with maybe more of a story and storytelling the next time around too. Great job with ruins and stuff.Xonotic is an addictive, arena-style first person shooter with crisp movement and a wide array of weapons. The outside is generally good, I don't see a point of making invisible warpzones in the debris though. Why?Īlso the elevator leading to the top of the map: Its easy to get up, but what if you changed your mind and want to get down? if you try that the lift gets you up again and again, untill you ragequit. I like the tower idea (made of simple rames and glass) though there are some holes in the glass you akwarldy cannot pass through. What is incredibly good is the slime room and all these effects in it, chains swinging there and there, moving textures. Some of the rooms are completly white and shiny, it might be a bit confusing, but most of all it doesn't look good There are 'bumpy' stairs inside the building that bumps you right into the doorframe. The map performance as previously mentioned is extremly low, Smaller duel map which ofcourse will be made for the new contest ! ĭont let that discouraging you from voting for it though. These bugs (and others like red stuff on the blue side) are the reason why I haven't posted the map here yet. I am planning on switching to something betterĬonsistency. I am also trying to find away to make the snow be less of an issue. I ran out of time to make it how I wanted itįramerate. Should be noted that the end of this was rushed in a 5 hour mapping spree before the contest ended. here is the link to the map we are talking about strength (im not gona have both strength and shield. minelayer (i think ill put that in somewhere. nex (on the highly visible bobbing/floating island) I'm not going to turn this into another balance thread. usually resulting in an interesting death. If someone shoots a rocket out of the window the turret will likely arc/bounce lighting too the rocket and then too the player. that building is meant for keeping tabs on (and the enemys paws off) of the nex. I'm unsure about the RL placement in the only building you can go in atm. but you cant go in (think the peep shows in lightspeed)) I'll try to keep the important stuff out of the buildings (probably most will have windows. I don't think I did anything that revolutionary. do you mean that it feel like a different kind of game?. "proof-of-concept for an engine" ? im still using darkplaces. that is something you would have to talk to the devs about. maybe I messed something up - and for its timelimit. I'm not sure if there is any way to do that in a "fast paced" fashion. otherwise its the typical video game city where every door is locked. I want people to be able to go inside (some) of them. i'll move them to more central places (as opposed to corners). as for weapon placement - I see what you mean. "Many movement disrupting/altering zones" ? could you be more specific. I'll be sure to put it in the next version I could put in an invisible ceiling if you wish. the turrets are so people cant hop across the roof. Also I don't like the idea of laser jumping on the roof and when be able to jump into the void, it doesnt feel like it fits in this map. I would like to get the HLAC replaced and maybe the Port-o-laucnher depending on how it effect the balance. What I would like to be changed: Make a city skybox instead, it doesnt feel like this map is floating in space. What I like the most: The visuals, the small tubes you can laser jump up in, I like the turrets on the top of the map. But it might get the map quite unbalanced, I do not know for sure though. I saw that a Port-o-launcher spawned but I couldnt find it, also an interesting idea. I don't think that the HLAC will work well since it's quite unbalanced IMO. Gameplay: I did only play with bots, but so far it plays pretty good! I really like the idea of adding those turrets on the top of the map. Weapons and items placement: Items got okey placement, but the weapon placement isent really my preference. We’ll show you how to solve any math problem with some incredible step by step math solver apps for your Mac, no matter what level of math you’re studying in school. The best apps are useful for a wide range of math disciplines like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and beyond. A good math solver app helps you arrive at the correct solutions quickly, and many even show the steps it took to get there. While math is an important skill to know, much of the complexities can be eased away with math apps. And the teachers want you to show your work, which feels silly in a digital age. For many, what they learned in school has left their mind by the time they get home and have to start doing homework. Math is a great example of how difficult studying can be. It’s a long, tedious process – and we’re sure you’d rather be doing just about anything else. Setapp has simple solutions for daily tasks.
